The E-Class coupe is fitted with a new 3.5-liter V6 direct injection engine that produces 302 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque and can take this car from 0-100 km/h in a swift 6.1 seconds. Seven-speed automatic transmission delivers the ideal response for relaxed cruising and quick acceleration, while paddle shifters on the steering wheel allow for manual-style control if desired. Adaptive suspension alters shock-absorber settings to react to changing road conditions and the driving style and the chassis has been strengthened to improve crash protection, reduce vibration and sharpen handling.
A Refined Interior
Designed to signify ‘sport’ as well as luxury, eye-catching oval exhaust pipes, 17” silver finish alloy wheels and sports seats emphasise this car’s performance nature, whilst high quality leather upholstery and hand-polished Burl Walnut wood trim lend the cockpit an air of refinement. A seven–inch high resolution colour LCD display, known as the COMAND system offers effortless control of audio, video, hands-free calling and navigation functions.
The Mercedes E-Class is also available as a five-passenger sedan, four-passenger convertible and seven-passenger wagon; each model delivering a fine balance between passenger space, luxury, style and impressive performance.
