The BMW X3 Has Strong Engines
Available in two trims, as the X3 SE or the X3, there is a choice of three diesel engines, a 2.0-litre four cylinder with 181bhp (20d), and two 3.0-litre straight sixes with either 255 bhp (30d) or 309 bhp (35d). The 20d is brisk and flexible, the 30d is impressively fast, whilst the 35d is even faster, achieving 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 239 km/h. A six-speed manual is standard on the 20d, with an eight-speed automatic available as an option, whilst the 3.0-litre car has the automatic transmission as standard.
