for a treat.
The tough and spacious Range Rover Sport SUV takes performance
and luxury to new heights with a choice of a hybrid inline-six, a plug-in
hybrid inline-six, and a mega-power twin-turbo V8 engine. The Range
Rover Sport offers a heady mix of comfort and sport, with an
innovative steering system that enables precision control on any road
surface. Passengers relax in plush Windsor leather heated seats and
enjoy cutting-edge infotainment features. Before you climb in, admire
the stylish exterior design with a unique carbon fibre bonnet and
contrasting mesh grill.
A classic Porsche always makes a statement and we highly
recommend the stunning Porsche 911 Coupe or Convertible for your
Cannes adventure. This is a car for all seasons with a powerful turbo-
charged flat-six engine and a sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.7
seconds. The convertible gives you a taste of open-air driving when
you drop the top in 12 seconds and cruise along La Croisette for a
show-off drive. The interior cabin is beautifully fitted and offers sports
seats that can heat or cool. The driver will enjoy the twin digital
instrument panels and the 12.3-inch media touchscreen.
Go for the thrill of a sensational supercar and rent a Lamborghini
Huracan Evo Spyder in Cannes. This monster unleashes 0 to
100km/h in just 3.1 seconds and reaches top speeds of 325km/h. The
scream of the V10 engine overpowers everything except your passion
for pure driving pleasure. The interior is finished in textures of Carbon
Fibre and features two racetrack seats with contrasting stitching and a
floating centre console. The driver has a high-tech 8.4-inch
touchscreen that controls the audio system, climate settings and other
media content. Run your hands over the luxurious Alcantara-wrapped
steering wheel and put the pedal to the metal. The car’s suspension,
differentials and rear-steering system are all perfectly fine-tuned for
ultimate grip and control. Be prepared to be blown away.
ONE DAY TRIP IN CANNES
Start your trip by slowly cruising the length of La Croisette, a
promenade that offers a view of beautiful people, the azure bay, the
Esterel mountains and the Art Nouveau architecture of the Carlton
Cannes. Drive to Le Suquet, the Old Town. Park your Lamborghini for
all to admire and stroll along the narrow cobblestone alleyways of this
ancient fishing village. It is located on the slopes of Mont Chevalier
above the bay and offers breathtaking views.
To test the speed and comfort of your Range Rover Sport, plan a day
trip to Saint Tropez, the playground of the world’s movers and
shakers. Admire the exclusive beach clubs and luxury million-dollar
yachts moored in the bay. This once-historic village still retains its old-
world charm, found in the hidden-away squares and quaint
cobblestone streets. Visit the Museum of Marine History located in the
17th century Citadel and stroll around the famous Musée de
l’Annonciade to see a collection of impressionist and modern art.
On a day trip to Eze, you will discover an amazing picture-perfect
village perched on the cliff-sides 400m above the Mediterranean Sea.
The village is filled with local art galleries, quaint alleyways and
balconies overflowing with colourful bougainvillea. Enjoy a meal at the
Chateau Eza Hotel. The gourmet restaurant features an indoor glass-
edged room with 180 degree panoramic views of the coast. Then relax
in the Jardin Exotique, a lush garden offering stunning views.
History lovers can plan a day trip to follow in the footsteps of
Napoleon, along the Route Napoleon. This road starts in Cannes and
is marked by signs with Brown Eagles. Drive to Grasse, a lovely town
known for its lavender fields and perfumeries. Then continue to the
Château de Brondet where Napoleon and his men stayed overnight.
You can climb to the top of the Notre Dame du Roc to see the views.
Drive on to Barrême where the troops negotiated the treacherous
mountain trail through the barren Pré-Alpes de Digne. End your trip at
Grenoble, where you can dine at Restaurant L’Amélyss, known for
classic French Cuisine and a stellar selection of wines.
A scenic detour off the Route Napoleon takes you to the amazing
Gorges Du Verdon, one of Europe’s most stunning deep river
canyons, 25km long and up to 700m deep. Follow the Napoleon Road
to Moustiers Sainte Marie, a quaint Provençal village, renowned for its
hand-crafted ceramic work. See the beautiful lavender fields of the
Valensole Plateau and stop in the village of Quinson to explore the
largest pre-historic museum in Europe. The Verdon Gorge can be
seen from the lookout points, or if you are brave, by renting a kayak
on the water and rowing between the towering cliffs.
