Then, splurge on some chocolate at Sprungli. The store is located at 21 Bahnhofstrasse where you can also grab a warm cup of coffee. You’ll want to be sure to grab some gifts to take home as well. Your next stop could be the Beyer Watch Museum. You’ll find it halfway up Bahnhofstrasse in the basement of the watch shop. Showcased inside are instruments that the Egyptians used for time measurement as well as some modern-day inventions as well.
From the city center, walk to Lindenhof and enjoy a little time on the benches. This view is something you don’t want to miss and even makes for a nice romantic location to propose. Then, stop off in the square and grab a bite to eat for lunch before moving on. From here, you’ll head off to the Grand Church with twin towers. There are 187 steps you’ll need to take, but the view is breathtaking. For a nice addition to your day, stop off at the Opera House and grab tickets to the next showing. You won’t be sorry. Then, end your day with a stroll around the lake where you can witness the swans floating elegantly on the water’s surface. Don’t forget to grab some cheese fondue before you head out of town!
