If you have a few days to explore the area, we think that a 2-day, 160-km journey in your Ferrari Portofino is the perfect way to see the various valleys. Start off in Bern which is one of the largest cities in Switzerland. The history in this area is overflowing and full of adventure. There are 16th-century fountains plus a majestic medieval clock tower featuring puppets.
When you are ready, head to Lucerne by taking route 10 past the various cattle farms and rolling hills. This city features some historical features dating back to the fall of the Roman Empire. Around Lucerne, you can enjoy the views of the lake as well as the Kappelbrücke straddling the Reuss River. If you are in Lucerne for the evening hours, you’ll find that the entire city comes to life thanks to the numerous restaurants and bars.
When you’ve had your fill of Lucerne, stay on the west side of the lake via the A8 to explore the valley views on your way to Lauterbrunnen. Your first stop must be at the waterfalls for a photo opportunity. Take some time to enjoy a hike through the majestic valley and you’ll be able to soak up some natural beauty. If you are truly adventurous, there are paragliding and skydiving tours found here. There is also a train which takes you to Wengen. You can’t travel there by car, but the train ride makes for a fabulous end to your road trip. If you need to fly back out of Bern, it’s a quick trip back the A6.
