The Lamborghini Murciélago is an exotic supercar available as a two door, two-seat coupe and a convertible roadster. The Murciélago LP640 is the flagship model, whilst the LP670-4 SuperVeloce and LP650-4 Roadster are limited editions. A forerunner to the Aventador, the Lamborghini Murciélago is one of the most extraordinary super sports cars of all time and the extreme SuperVeloce is the most powerful, lightest and fastest of the range.
The SuperVeloce is powered by a great V12 engine that has been optimised to rocket this supercar from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and to a top speed of 213 mph (343 km/h), producing 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) at 8000 rpm and 490 lb·ft (660 N·m) of torque at 6500 rpm. An upgraded E-Gear transmission system is standard, dropping shift times from 0.4 to 0.2 seconds, whilst the permanent all-wheel drive delivers the extreme power to the road with great reliability. Fine-tuned steering gives improved handling, and the extensively reworked body shell, aerodynamics and suspension generate more grip. The enormous carbon-ceramic discs are more than capable of controlling this car’s tremendous speed.
The Murciélago is an iconic car with a menacing character, whose distinctive scissor doors, angular design and low-slung body emphasise its brutal power and extreme image. The interior is exquisitely designed, providing a spacious two-seater cabin with sports bucket seats to ensure optimum driver and passenger comfort. The Lamborghini Murcielago is a supercar with outstanding performance, razor-sharp precision and exceptional high-speed stability: the ultimate performance car.
