Lamborghini Huracan
The Lamborghini Huracan is powered by a mid-rear naturally aspirated 5.2-Litre V10 engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Highlight numbers are top speeds of over 320 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds. This 2-door coupé offers 2 seats. Traveling the Autobahn in your Supercar
Autobahn adventure
Feel the need for speed
While not necessarily a destination, the Autobahn is the road you want to travel to experience what everyone in Germany talks about. Enter the Autobahn near a larger city like Berlin or Munich. You’ll take notice that despite what people say, there are actually speed limits in these areas. Typically they range from 80 to 128 km/h and are smart considering all the dangerous curves and heavy traffic that you’ll encounter.
Once you travel beyond the congested areas, you’ll see the dynamic speed limits. These are displayed on electronic signs and are adjusted based on the road, weather and traffic conditions. If you are traveling out of the dynamic zone, you’ll be free to follow a suggested speed limit.
About every 40 to 65 km, you’ll come across rest stops. It is important to take advantage of these as traveling on the Autobahn can be tiring. At these stops, you’ll normally find fuel, restaurants, bathrooms and convenience stores. You’ll also find some other stops that offer a relaxing picnic area for you to enjoy a bite to eat. While it might be tempting to see how far you can push your luxury supercar, it is recommended that you drive responsibly. Live out the dream of being on the most popular expressway in the fanciest car you can find, but do it safely.
Even though you are enjoying your supercar and all the amenities, be sure you also take in the various scenery around you. The prettiest part of the Autobahn is often referred to as the stretch from Cologne to Nuremberg. This major west-east route runs through some of the lower mountain ranges such as Westerwald, Spessart and Taunus. During your trip, you’ll see many forests and quaint villages in the valleys below. You could even spot the Limburg Cathedral while driving your fast supercar.
Be one of the few that gets the pleasure of driving a powerhouse of a supercar on Germany’s Autobahn highway.
