Head southeast down the A8 towards Prien am Chiemsee, a challenging 87km drive with plenty of steep hills and tight turns for the Porsche to navigate without batting an eyelid. There are some 3+3 lane sections for opening the throttle, but keep your eye on the posted speed limits. You need a vignette (pre-paid toll permit) to drive on motorways in Austria, so turn around before the border or switch to country roads for the final stretch to Salzburg.

Frankfurt to Baden-Baden in an Audi R8

If you’re heading to the beautiful spa town of Baden-Baden, perhaps for a few days chilling out in one of Europe’s top wine regions, the Audi R8 could be the perfect set of wheels for your trip.

Fly into Frankfurt airport where your luxury V-10 Audi R8 supercar will be ready to welcome you. Before you know it, you’ll be heading south on the A5 for the 240 km journey to Baden-Baden where your luxury spa treatments await. The early part of the autobahn is Germany’s longest autobahn section with 8 lanes, so make the most of it!
